St. Jude Spirit of the Dream (Memphis)

Memphis will once again come together in a powerful celebration of hope, generosity, and lifesaving purpose as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital hosts its 11th annual Spirit of the Dream event—an inspiring afternoon where compassion meets culinary artistry and community spirit fuels a global mission. Presented by W&T Contracting Corporation this event will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2027, at 11am.

The Spirit of the Dream Award is one of the highest honors bestowed by St. Jude, celebrating individuals whose commitment, leadership, and unwavering generosity embody the legacy of founder Danny Thomas—who believed that no child should die in the dawn of life.

This year’s honorees will represent that vision in action. Through their philanthropy, advocacy, and dedication to community, each has played a vital role in advancing the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. Their efforts have helped ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food—allowing them to focus solely on helping their children live.

As their stories are shared throughout the afternoon, guests will be reminded that the fight against childhood cancer is not just a medical journey, it is a collective one.
